Health at Home Physiotherapy is a company dedicated to the provision of physiotherapy services in the home, work and community.

Whether you find it difficult or inconvenient to leave your home, school or business, we will come to you.

We cover all of HRM. We also cover the eastern shore as far as Truro, along the north shore to Kentville, the south shore to Chester and the western shore to Sheet Harbour.

We can often offer same day appointments.

Our therapists have a broad range of experience and are adept at assessment and management of all musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological problems from the young to the aged. The health at Home group also does ergonomic assessments and safety/fall risk assessments and offers excellent post operative care after hip or knee replacements, as well as shoulder or back surgery to mention a few.

We offer a full range of services including ultrasound, interferential current, acupuncture, neuromuscular stimulation, resistance equipment as well as highly trained physiotherapists experienced in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription – what you would find in a traditional clinic setting but in your own environment.

We specialize in care for seniors and veterans and have many years experience in serving the military community.

Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in duration and may be covered by your extended health care plan.

We can direct bill to Blue Cross and Great West Life and Veteran Affairs.

Our therapists are licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and are registered with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
